I'm also having trouble importing my old notes, but I'm getting a different error: EISDIR: illegal operation on a directory, read.

When trying to import legacy notes, I get the following error:

Cannot read property 'map' of undefined

I've tested the note import both on Ubuntu 18.04 (Linux x64 4.15.0-121-generic) and OSX (Catalina) with the same error.
Current version of BoostNote: 0.10.1
Legacy BoostNote version: 0.15.3

The location where I import the notes as well as where the notes are exported to doesn't seem to matter.

when I import it 'works' in that i see the gui creating folders and looping over notes. it overwrites the same note every time and I end up with 1 note in every folder.

legacy 0.16.1
next 0.11.5

Hi janith-dev:

Try with this: https://medium.com/boostnote/how-to-migrate-data-from-old-boostnote-efd8a5c7aa7d
and please use latest versions.

If it does not work, join the slack as mentioned in article!
