As improvement I would like to suggest a collecting note which parses through all notes and collects all Tasks (- [ ] ) and shows them sorted by open and closed. This would be a nice consolidation of all tasks rather than having to switch through all notes with tasks defined. Of course the ticking off/on of tasks shall also update the originating note accordingly.

unfortunately, I can not contribute myself much to this but I think this feature would be yet another good selling point.

The idea of having some syntax that would allow for collection all task in some master to-do note sounds nice. I feel like such a master note could quickly become disorienting and chaotic, but depending on how the user has their notes this can differ.

This might be slightly related to this issue #1071 as both would like automatic content based on other notes.
