Hot keys to navigate/select code snippets on the document #1281
Comments
Hi @vovanmix , thank you for your suggestion! How about the Finder feature? |
Hi @kazup01! |
Ah I understand. Certainly need to click on the code block in Markdown. |
Well, my idea is to have a hot key that will select the next code block in the currently displayed md document. And then use either an another hot key or cmd(crtl) C to copy the selected block to the clipboard.
How hard it is to do depends on how the md viewer is implemented, I haven’t looked at it yet. What do you think?

The current method of being able to copy an entire code block seems sufficient in most cases. Would it be nice if there was a hotkey that just straight up copied the first code block it found? Pressing that again would instantly copy the second code block and so on. |
Hi!
In my day to day use of the desktop app I often need to copy-paste code snippets that I have saved in markdown notes. Currently to copy them I have to either use my mouse, or enter edit move, navigate to the snippet, select and copy it.
I would love to have a hotkey to navigate through all available snippets and copy them, mouse-free. Does it look like a good feature to you?
I can work on it if it does!
