Dropbox button missing in boostnote-mobile on iOS

Current behavior

Dropbox-button missing from sidebar on clean install

Expected behavior

From what I can find on forums, github and the internet in general there should be a dropbox-button right below "All notes". This one is missing on my client.

Steps to reproduce

Clean install of boostnote mobile on my iPhone, and there is no button.

Environment

iPhone X
Application Version: 1.1.7
OS Version and name : iOS 12.0.1

It unfortunately seems like the boostnote mobile project has come to a temporary stop, as there is no active maintainers of it. Hope someone will pick it up. No iOS app is a total dealbreaker for me, even though I love the concept and want to convert from evernote.
