Project: Movie Tracker
Group Member Names: Brennan Duffey and Justin Pyktel
Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?): Shooting for exceptional to proffecient. Professional workflow practices (using github project consistently and small atomic commits). Solidify redux set-up as well as Router. Justin: Work on asynchonous testing. Brennan: Work on and review CSS skills.
Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here): Brennan: Javascript logic and what it's doing line by line. Justin: React rendering and styling.
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?): Both available to work weekdays until 8 PM / brain death. Weekends constraints only available a couple of hours hard cap at 4.
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?): Daily check-ins. First available time during work time or after school. Nightly message recapping what was done and what still needs to be done based from the daily check-ins. When having a problem message eachother first.
Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement): Refer to goals and expectations.
Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?): Pairing early for project set-up then can start working individually from what is decided in daily check-ins.
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques): Use and keep github project board up to date. And message eachother first before reaching out for other help.
Expectations for giving and receiving feedback: Give blunt feedback to me (I'm to socially inept to pick up on passive aggression) earlier the better.
Project management tools we will use: Github projects!
No new functionality on last night or last morning!
