A memory leak was tracked down to version 7.1.2 of this package. 7.1.1 (or 7.0.5) do not leak.
We are running on Foobar Linux release 8 / Node 16.17.1 I'm guessing Foobar is basically RHEL 8.
npm run test:mem also gives "Error: Memory limit reached" on macOS Monterey 12.6 / Node 18.9.1
