"/etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.d" exists and is empty. Running after
sux
return the same error, so it isn't a permission issue.

Edit: #580 (comment) helped with this error message. However I now got Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0".. Next, I set the debian glx alternative to /usr/lib/nvidia/bumblebee using sudo update-alternatives glx. However, glxgears still fails to get a visual:

Edit 2:
After reinstalling bumblebee, a failed attempt to install nvidia-libglx0 (another driver already installed) and a reboot, I seem to have made it. I.e. Xonotic starts and runs with hardest graphics settings.
