Lua installation

Hi everybody, I have a CDN infrastructure that I used Apache Traffic Server as Edge nodes and also, there is some proxy nodes that that works with nginx . Now I have Nginx server, is it possible to install only Lua on Nginx server? If yes , how can I implement it ?

Versions:

  • Nginx version: nginx/1.18.0
  • Operating system of web server running Nginx: Centos7

Other optional information you want to add other than the above:

Cuse this Lua DDoS protection is a layer 7 DDoS protection you may use it in Nginx
and apache passthrough hole traffic to the Nginx (its just use more CPU by apache to passthrough)
but I need to know that did apache in front of all nodes or its combined with Nginx?

Did you mean Is it possible to install Lua DDOS protection on ATS (Also Apache traffic server is not Apache web server). and Nginx is in front of the ATS. But I want to have a ddos mitigation on ATS too. Because sometimes there is not any NGINX server in my CDN Platform and the ATS is my edge server.
