Describe the bug
This is a regression in the interactive pv PR (#1253) as picked up by one of the e2e tests.

Sometimes, the spatial profile along a polyline on a wide field image cannot be computed, resulting an empty plot in the spatial profiler.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load a wide-field image
  2. Create a polyline to see its spatial profile in the spatial profiler
  3. If the profile can be generated, try to move the polyline to other places to see if the profile can be computed still.

Expected behavior
The spatial profile along a polyline on a wide field image should still be computed.
