Hi, I updated the picture associated with my CPAN email address on Gravatar last week

http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/df2a8f488042c13a4fe2a6b312dcdaa0.png

but the new image hasn't made it to metacpan (or seach.cpan.org for that matter) yet. The FAQ says that images are cached and to "give it a day or two", but it's been exactly a week (7/26), so I wonder if the cache is working correctly, would be great if you could check. Thanks!

Hmm ... is this the right place to post issues with the metacpan UI?

Sorry, this is the place, just been swamped lately.

The api currently has
https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/57604f4f5170e143dd45ec8c93608e63?s=130&d=identicon
for your url (which matches your cpan.org email address).

The url you pasted matches your alternate email address.

It's possible that metacpan's original gravatar url was an automated guess
at some point.
So if you want your gravatar url to reflect your alternate email address
edit your profile on metacpan and put the correct url in there. Then the
next time you change your photo it should update automatically.

Alternatively if you update your gravatar profile to attach your new photo
to your cpan.org address then s.c.o should update automatically as well.

Thanks for your reply. Here are my settings on gravatar.com:
http://perlmeister.com/tmp/gravatar.png
so all emails are associated with the new picture (m@ is the one for CPAN).
Now, when you say I need to update my metacpan profile, you mean to log into metacpan.org? It only gives me a few oauth options (github, google, twitter), none of which I want to use, and I don't think I understand how you would link this up with my cpan identity once you've verified that, say, I'm xyz@gmail.com where xyz@ is different from my cpan email address.

As for search.cpan.org, I thought all I had to do is change the gravatar.com profile, but that doesn't seem to pick it up either.

Any more advice on what I need to do differently? Much appreciated!

The address that's missing from that screenshot is: pauseid at cpan dot org
If you add that email address to your gravatar profile, it will magically
work on both sites, since they both default to that.
