Work description

• We need support refactoring and implement support for new features, such as graph with multiple edge types.
• There is a long term maintenance plan for the package, particularly continually integrate more network data when new ones come out.

Timeline

There is no concrete timeline at the moment. We would love to have a discussion with the software engineering tema first and come up with a viable plan.
