[BUG]Cannot build the cv-cuda on Ubuntu 20.04 #95

Hi David - We are looking into this issue. Are you able to build the source code from the latest version of CV-CUDA (v0.5) with Ubuntu 20.04 using the same build steps? Please let us know if that works. |
Hi, your build seems to be failing when testing the API compatibility with gcc-8, which was detected as installed on your system:
It looks like your gcc-8 installation might not be fully functional, as it's failing to find the associated 'cc1plus' Could you verify your gcc-8 installation, reinstall or even uninstall it if at all possible? |
Thanks. The default version of GCC is gcc-9, why is gcc-8 used to build cv-cuda? By the way, all gcc versions come with ubuntu 20.04 and no additional compiler is installed. It doesn't seem to make sense to reinstall GCC-8. If it should be, all Ubuntu 20.04 will have to do it tediously. |

It is possible to successfully build a program from the source code on Ubuntu 22.04 . But it was failed on Ubuntu 20.04. Please give the correct building steps on Ubuntu 20.04.
