@gdower, would it be possible to unify presentation of subgenera in CoLDP from different source chjecklists?

Subgenera now appear as uninomials in Systema Dipterorum & ITIS (e.g. Abacantha, Abapa, etc.):

Systema Dipterorum: https://www.checklistbank.org/dataset/1101/names?facet=rank&facet=issue&facet=status&facet=nomStatus&facet=nameType&facet=field&facet=authorship&facet=authorshipYear&facet=extinct&facet=environment&facet=origin&limit=50&offset=0&rank=subgenus&sortBy=taxonomic

ITIS: https://www.checklistbank.org/dataset/2144/names?facet=rank&facet=issue&facet=status&facet=nomStatus&facet=nameType&facet=field&facet=authorship&facet=authorshipYear&facet=extinct&facet=environment&facet=origin&limit=50&offset=0&rank=subgenus&reverse=false&sortBy=taxonomic

and

Subgenera appear as combinations in TaxonWorks & WoRMS exports (e.g. Abrodiaeta (Abrodiaeta), Acauloplacella (Acauloplacella), etc.)

SF Orthoptera: https://www.checklistbank.org/dataset/1021/names?facet=rank&facet=issue&facet=status&facet=nomStatus&facet=nameType&facet=field&facet=authorship&facet=authorshipYear&facet=extinct&facet=environment&facet=origin&limit=50&offset=0&rank=subgenus&sortBy=taxonomic

3i Auchenorrhyncha: https://www.checklistbank.org/dataset/2317/names?facet=rank&facet=issue&facet=status&facet=nomStatus&facet=nameType&facet=field&facet=authorship&facet=authorshipYear&facet=extinct&facet=environment&facet=origin&limit=50&offset=0&rank=subgenus&sortBy=taxonomic

WCO (Opiliones): https://www.checklistbank.org/dataset/2256/names?facet=rank&facet=issue&facet=status&facet=nomStatus&facet=nameType&facet=field&facet=authorship&facet=authorshipYear&facet=extinct&facet=environment&facet=origin&limit=50&offset=0&rank=subgenus&sortBy=taxonomic

WoRMS Mollusca: https://www.checklistbank.org/dataset/1130/names?facet=rank&facet=issue&facet=status&facet=nomStatus&facet=nameType&facet=field&facet=authorship&facet=authorshipYear&facet=extinct&facet=environment&facet=origin&limit=50&offset=0&rank=subgenus&sortBy=taxonomic

Just in case, checklists under Botanical Code:
Bryonames & World Plants/Ferns have subgenera in synonyms only.
WCVP, WWW & Species Fungorum Plus have no subgenera at all.

What should be regarded as correct presentation, "as combinations" or "as uninomials"?
How CoL/CLB can manage subgenera?

It unfortunately depends on the code and available data. If an infra generic name is given with the genus it should be shown together. If not, an uninominal is all we have:

For the assembled COL checklist I agree we should standardise the representation as much as we can.
I would argue for a simple uninomial like Abacantha and keep the subgenus in the bi/trinomial only in brackets - at least for zoological names.
