A widget that shows the barcode directly would be cool. See https://www.droidapp.nl/nieuws/appie-app-bonuskaart-widget/ for an example:

Chiming in to show my support (as it came from my app review) and to be part of the notifications! Might potentially try to pick this up and throw a PR at you. Take this with some salt as I haven't yet done any native app development :)
