What is the difference between Foundry and this WFRP system?

These systems can come with various features, such as character sheets, premade actors or items, and specialized functions to make playing the game easier. This WFRP4e system comes with many such features, and this FAQ only covers questions related to this system and those features. If you have questions related to the core Foundry software, please go to the Official Foundry FAQ

How does the "Opposed test" system works?

There are two type of opposed test: automatic and manual.

Automatic:

  • The attacker needs to target an opponent (double right-click for players, right click->target for GM, or use the Target tool.
  • The attacker can roll for its attack from the "Combat" tab by clicking on its preferred weapon.
  • This will start an automatic Opposed Test against the selected targets.
  • Each defenders can now roll the weapon or skill of their choice (like Dodge).
  • On each result card, the GM can right-click to apply the damage (if any) to the defender.

How do I edit a creature, a career or any entries from the Compendiums

You can't directly edit from a Compendium and you shouldn't to prevent data loss when you update your system.
First, import the entry to want to change to your world with a right-click->import.
Then, open your newly imported entry and make any changes you want. Otherwise, duplicate the compendium and unlock it and make your changes there.
