Story: As a future user I want to go through the sign-up process efficiently.

What happened: I gave my name, mail, password, checked the checkboxes and confirmed. Then I was wondering if the page was reloading and what the next step would be, since the form was still on screen, but deactivated.

Problem: The info text that one should check one’s mail is below the form and, while in green, still easy to overlook since the deactivation-gray has a similar lightness.

Possible solutions:

  • Have an additional confirmation page, showing the "go to your mail" first, then a summary of the entered data.
  • Have an confirmation pop-up (if that is a paradigm you use)
  • quick fix could be to use animations and let the mail info box unfold to direct attention to it.
