I would like to calculate a model with three interacting factors but get this error: Error: cannot allocate vector of size 38.6 Gb

I work on a virtual machine, is there a possibility to negate this error, for example, by increasing the machine RAM to a certain value? (currently running 60GB)
Thanks!

I've increased my RAM now to 120GB and it currently seems to be running at max 70% memory capacity.
