New fuselage, wing and gear. model, textures, normal map; Everything.
  • Completely remodeled exterior. Yes. From the ground up.
  • Up to 15x Higher res models, from 20k to 300k triangles. No large framerate drops.
  • Supports 4x better texture quality. You can select res to save VRAM.
  • Accurate models from actual 777-300ERs.
  • Normal mapped for accurate lighting
  • Removed bugs of HDR rendering. No artefacts.
Improved flight dynamics
  • Major change: length of plane corrected from an inaccurate 190ft to actual 212'7".
  • Major change: wingspan of the plane corrected from an inaccurate 170ft to actual 242'4".
  • Flight dynamics are compared with other commercial products from P3D.
  • Corrected lift & drag cooefficients for airfoils to be more realistic at different AOAs.
  • Corrected engine curves for N1 and N2.
  • Corrected flap lift & drag cooefficients.
Improved wing realism
  • Major change: wing remodelled entirely.
  • Wing flexes in five locations instead of three
  • Light is correctly positioned on wing
  • Flap and slat deploy is reanimated
  • Speedbrake deploy & roll pattern is correctly simulated.
  • Horizontal stabilizer is movable and flexes
  • Better physics calculations for wing flex
Improved gear realism
  • Major change: Gear remodelled from diagrams, similar to the Manilla Project.
  • Gear is reanimated.
  • Main gear steering is visually simulated with information from FCOM.
  • Gear deflects from -4.8˚ when takeoff to 11.1˚ when off the ground which is accurate to the B777-300ER.
  • Drag cooefficients reset.
  • Braking cooefficients fixed. The plane does not glide around at high speeds.
Added cockpit features
  • The Electronic Flight Bag, touchpad and standby instruments panel added.
  • Redid textures for some things
  • The MFD is being prepared for 0.43
  • FMC fixes
  • Improved XP11 compatiblity
  • Improved GitHub compatiblity
  • Support layed out for future dev
  • Removed tons of bugs
  • Changed license

* XP11 N1, N2, THR curves are correct
* XP11 now tested and compatible.

(XP10 people don't really have any improvements since 0.41.0, look forward to 0.42!)
