This will involve two steps:

Hack the theme to use the SITE_LICENSE variable in the footer, instead of a hardcoded value.. Something similar to https://github.com/if1live/pelican-sora/blob/master/templates/footer.html
Set the SITE_LICENSE variable in our pelicanconf.py to the appropriate text.

I've done some work on this. What should the actual content of SITE_LICENSE be?

I'm setting it to Text is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License. as discussed in the mailing list. Hope that is fine?
