I had a gaming session going strong on my Atari VCS and I had to unplug the HDMI cable from it and into a laptop.
Less than 5 minutes later I wanted to resume what was going on the VCS so I unplugged the HDMI from the laptop and plugged it back into the VCS.
Black screen with a cursor flashing at the top hand left side.
Depending on what type of emulation(I would say) the video output seems to break because most other times the same scenario causes no undesired effects.
