comment tags. This website has certain tags like "popular", and "new poster" and "ars staff" and "story author". these tags help to engage users giving meta data about the comment poster.
even for logged out users, this comment page shows the comment poster registration date, posts made and the actual time of the comment as opposed to our current model of "2 months ago" or "10 minutes ago". we have the data, the question is, do we show that like these people have done? here "edited" comments are also shown separate "last edited on" label
user flair. users here have their names shown like "Jonathan M. Gitlin Automotive Editor" and "citizencoyote Ars Centurion et Subscriptor" or "madmax559 Ars Praefectus et Subscriptor" or "raxx7 Ars Tribunus Angusticlavius et Subscriptor".
If i have subscribers to the channel or account or certain users are donors instance wide, these tags would help to differentiate them from the rest with gamification? these would be similar to badges that have been Roles badges #1583

@Chocobozzz i would be glad if you did indeed reopen it and maybe more people can also discuss if this is a feature that can be worked on. is there a way we can bump old features like this to more people?

This may be a nice feature. I'm mainly thinking about adding a tag to the channel owner when commenting. If we had the comment voting feature it could be great to see the "popular" tag as well, that could be a way to give more incentives to write good (upvoted) comments.
