Create a new instrument as a starting point.

Find the first instrument that is all zeroes
Initialize with some generic sound, like a simple pulse sound
Create simple pulse, wave (and filter?) sequences and use the pointers in the new sound
at the end of existing tables

This saves you quite some 'boilerplate' instrument code and scrolling to find the end of tables.

OR

A duplicate instrument function, that does all this, but with the presets from the already existing instrument?
