As per comments following: #133 (comment)

It would be good to know the differences, if any, on building project in container and locally using cargo build-bpf --remp-path-prefix. The BPF build doesn't respect RUSTFLAGS so that will need to be investigated first

This was fixed upstream 🎉 solana-labs/solana#17895
