Subspace jammer battery doesn't vanish when inserted

Subspace jammer when you remove the battery and charge it doesn't go back in correctly. Instead the game says the battery was inserted while the battery remains in your hand. Does not seem to lead to a dupe as you can't far as I can tell endlessly dupe the weapon cell in it. does let you stick the cell into a weapons charger and seemingly keep the jammer charged endlessly.
