here's an implementation of the verifiable random functions based system described in DESIGN.md, using the curve25519-dalek Rust crate and the Ristretto group.
Initial signature, derivation and verification generate correct results, but I'm reaching my limits on crypto scheme design, so this really needs a look from a real cryptographer.
(BTW curve25519-dalek is awesome)
