Is your feature related to a problem?

It'd be nice to reduce boilerplate code for making http requests to the Nextjs api endpoints

Describe the new feature

  • use simpler http fetching library (less code)
  • must have caching
  • must have ability to invalidate cache
  • must be able to refetch at an interval
