Comments
Here's an .ips file for the fix. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4qoJJMkPJSMdjllVVZvd0tGYjg |
not sure why people cant get it work, I got this and Street Fighter Alpha 2 working no problem, and a bunch of theres that people say dont work |
@DecanFrost Can you share your findings? |
@DecanFrost, open telnet console and execute |
Where did you find that fix? Is there a fix for terranigma and illusion of time? |
@Mime64 thanks for the ips. Gaia is now working on the native emulator. Now, @DecanFrost if can share how he got Alpha 2 working, that would be great. Also looking to get Rock n Roll Racing working. |
Alpha 2 works on Canoe too, but it requires a bit more work. |
I was trying to connect via telnet but it wont connect for me ... odd.. but I just noticed that in my global setting at some point i must have put --retroarch in there or it was in there from my previous build. so thats probably why all my games work including SF Alpha 2 |
@DecanFrost You probably don't have the telnet client installed for Windows. You need to add it/turn it on in Windows features under Programs and Features. |
@Mime64 Thanks for the howTo for Alpha 2. Working fine on native emulator. |
@Mime64 You should consider making a howTo video that covers the steps in the comment. |
A fix for Actraiser 2 would be awesome |
patch for spanish translated verson https://www.elotrolado.net/viewtopic.php?p=1744625519 |
This patch should also work on german version, right? |
Guys this is not a discussion thread. Please stay on topic. Keep discussion elsewhere on forums, reddit, or discord. |
hey mime64 Using uCON64, one can apply the "SlowROM fix" to Illusion of Gaia and it runs in the SNES Mini's native emulator. Perhaps hakchi could incorporate this fix? http://ucon64.sourceforge.net/ which one of ucon64 download zip is needed for snes mini classic to get the fix for illusion of gaia since there are multiple zip files |
edge7x where should i add the ips for the snes mini classic to get illusion of gaia to work with my snes mini classic? send me the answer either here or my email |
@angelusjmw you need to apply the IPS patch to the correct ROM to generate a new, patched ROM. have a read of this: http://fantasyanime.com/patching |
which illusion of gaia rom should i get from which site? |
@angelusjmw I can't help you with that, sorry but read the section "When a patch doesn't come with directions" in the above URL |
how do i apply the ips patch since the url you gave me dont really says how to apply patch to rom if you can help tell me the steps in here i am deaf so can't hear in a yoiutube video |
OK, so the ips file will only work with the correct/matching ROM For retroarch they should be named the same, but with a different extension. or you can use an app to generate a patched ROM: see Manual Patching in linked patching guide. |
@angelusjmw This needs to be asked on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/miniSNESmods/ This is a bug report tracker not a troubleshooting forum. Also you are asking for help with pirating a rom which is against Githubs terms of service, so you will not receive links for the proper rom here. Also, you are asking on an issue that is totally unrelated to your problem, which is rude. This issue originally asked to incorporate the IPS patch into Hakchi2 without the need to patch yourself, not to help others get it working. |
Didn't mean to close the issue sorry. |
