At the initial stage of the game, the helicopter is actively used for capturing technological buildings and espionage. The helicopter often gets damaged and is still needed. Its quick repair is desirable, but often it is necessary to refuse repairs due to lack of time to build an engineer and an IFV. This was done quickly and conveniently at the repair depot.
Visually, the repair process was going well. It didn't seem illogical or unnatural.
