Truncated fields are hard to read.

Some other output modes that might be helpful:

  • A vertical listing (like \gx in psql) option?
  • Opinionated formats, like -d long or -d brief?

Hi @groner !

Finally getting around to looking into this. Could you give some examples? Would also be nice to know how many columns you're typically working with.
