Seems like it would be useful.

Unfortunately, it seems there's no upstream enforcement of the featureIds field in templates.

oras pull ghcr.io/devcontainers/index:latest
jq . devcontainer-index.json | less

Which means this would require either an upstream (breaking) change or parsing the tarball of every template.
