Objective

The primary objective of this epic is to establish a robust deployment pipeline for the UIPA.org codebase. Essentially, we need to deploy a virtual machine image (something like an AMI) that our community partner can pull down and deploy for us on their own infrastructure. We do this so they don't have to worry about dependency management, as all the needed dependencies will be pre-installed on the virtual machine already.

Note: AWS EC2 and AMIs would probably be a good fit here.

Tasks

  • Figure out what's needed in terms of dependencies for deploying this project. We are probably going to use some variation of Linux
  • Create a workflow to create the virtual machine and deploy this codebase on top of it
