Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently the connector does not support field partitioning based on a nested field.

Describe the solution you'd like
FieldPartitioner should be able to extract values from a nested field.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Using SMT for flattening the nested JSON is not always convenient. As it changes the structure of the record.
