Even though #5 is closed and generated.

We see new possible issues: for resonances of subsystems in $\pi^0 p$ and $\eta p$ are the same in qrules

Because the Δ* resonances are generally less relevant for 𝜂𝑝 production due to isospin considerations. However, higher mass Δ* resonances can still contribute in some cases.

And after looking up online, for example, if we only see limited to strong intermediate, the N* resonances for $\pi^0 p$ is likely correct in qrules, but for $\eta p$ should not be exactly the same as $\pi^0 p$ and possibly something went wrong or not yet considered here. For $\eta$ and $\pi^0$, the key difference is the isospin value, so maybe that is a direction to have a further investigation about why in qrules we don't get a different set of resonances as orignally expected...

Better to rewrite the notebook so that it uses the StateTransitionManager directly, see this tutorial. With the STM, you can:

  • set different conservation rules on the production and decay node.
  • visualize the 'problem sets' before solving, so that you can more identify configuration problems
