Currently the Final Cut Pro > Commands > Import… menu option allows you to import any files, including media files such as QuickTime MOV’s. This is incorrect - it should be restricted to only allowing you to import .commandset files.

This is confusing, because new users (or in this case, Apple App Review testers), can foolishly think that this is a way to import media/new files.

You can import any file using this menu item, and it creates a new empty Command Set, which is completely useless.

Please restrict the Final Cut Pro > Commands > Import… to only use .commandset files in the NSOpenPanel to avoid confusion with new users, and Apple App Review testers.

This has been fixed in Final Cut Pro 10.7. Woohoo!
