The CourseMates app is an interactive system that provides ability to share, review and rate any courses materials. This app comes to simplify sharing experience for students and teachers that willing to manage & share courses materials with feedbacks and ratings.
How to use CourseMates application ?
First step :
Register to coursemates :
- Enter and choose your personal details.
- Enter your Email account and verify your account by clicking on the link provided by the coursemates verifying system.
- Since registration is completed, From now on only logging in will be required
Second step :
Logging in
- Enter your details you have chosen in the required fields in order to log in and click Log In.
- After logging in, each user will have a web desktop with all the courses he is registered too, which will be presented as folders icons. Creating a new course
- The User may create a new course be clicking on the Create Course button and by choosing and entering the course’s details, From this point and on, the user who created the course will be also be its Admin. The Admin have all the privileges to manage his course.
Inviting users to a course :
- The user might probably want to invite other users to his course in order to share relevant information with them. The users who will get those invasions are only registered coursemates users.
- When a user will click on the ”Invite Users“ button, there will be a list of all the courses he is admin at, and a textbox to search for users in order to invite them to a course.
- The user will search for other coursemates users by their username, and once the users are founded , he will make a list for of the users he wants to invite per each courses he is own.
- By clicking on the “Invite” button on the button of every list , an Email invitation Will be sent to the users in the list.
Adding a file to a course
- Once a user is registered to a course and opening its folder, there will be a “Add file” button inside
- After clicking on the “Add file” button the user will see a dialog box where he will provide the File location and its name.
- After clicking the Upload button , the coursemates application will check the user’s input and if its valid, will upload the file to the file server and a new file icon will be created on the course page.
Using the Forum Item :
- Per each course there will be a forum where the students/teachers can ask and answer question.
- For creating a new thread , the user will click on the “new Thread” Button and enter his text. Once Clicking on “Submit” the message will be presented on the relevant thread.
- For commenting on existing thread the user will click on the “reply button” and a test box will be presented to him for his text. After pressing the “Submit” button the message will be presented on the relevant thread.
The main product is a web site based application and do not requires any installation, In order to access the website Click Here. After simple registration you will be able to create or manage a course.
We will provide screen capture videos with instructions for the major usage, in addition we will have a Q&A section for others issues.
For those who want to stay up to date, we will develop android application that helps students staying tuned, manage documents on the go and gets push notifications.

You just go to REPORT A BUG screen and fill the bug details.
- Fill the bug title.
- Describe in details the bug and the steps you've been completed until that point.
- Assign the bug to "CourseMates" in the signing to field.
- label the issue as a BUG and prioritize it as "High".
