Touch: allow default action isn't working

Based on the docs http://www.createjs.com/Docs/EaselJS/classes/Touch.html#method_enable it should be possible to allow the default action when Touch is enabled on the stage via the allowDefault-property on Touch.enable ("If true, then default gesture actions (ex. scrolling, zooming) will be allowed when the user is interacting with the target canvas."). However this property doesn't seem to change anything (iPad/iPhone on iOS8 and Android 5, Chrome 40).
