recurring events occurence management

Currently we can define recurring events but each occurrence doesn't really exist since the only existing event is the main / first occurrence.
Therefore on a calendar when you click on an occurrence to are landing to the same post. There is no way to have one specific post for each event occurrence.

Or at the very least, when you click on a recurring event on the calendar how can we know on which occurrence we clicked so that we display it on the landing page ?

At the end and compared to other events management solutions the key missing feature here is the ability to manage the OCCURRENCE:

• being able to edit a special occurrence of the event
• being able to display not only the event detail page but also each event occurrence
