New tabs still open at the end of the list

Hi

I have these settings:
browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent= true
browser.tabs.insertAfterCurrent = true
But new tabs still open at the end of the list.
NB!: I also use 'Simple Tab Groups' (STG)! If there is another similar add-on that can import all my current tabs and tab groups from STG or maybe from the old 'Tab Groups' add-on, and which does not have this problem, then I would consider that as a solution too.

PS: I don't know how to set labels like "help wanted".

Add-on version: 0.11.0
Firefox version: 62.0.3 (64-bit)
OS + OS-Version: Ubuntu 18.04.1. LTS

PPS: Sorry for posting the following feature request here, but it's kind of related to what I wrote above:
I (also) miss the functionality of the 'open duplicate tab (next to current)'-add-ons. I have tried several of them, but none of them work while VTR and STG are running. Thanks!

The duplicate tab feature is already implemented but not yet released, see #189
I'm planning to make the next release in the next 2 - 4 weeks.

I will have a look at the other aspects of this issue some time later.

You can't do this. Only people who have write access to a repository can set labels on GitHub issues.

In Firefox 63 and 64 Beta I can reproduce a "jumpy behaviour" which can cause problems, like that it stays at the end.
I can't reproduce this behaviour with Firefox 65 Nightly. I believe Mozilla did optimize these settings in Firefox 65.
Until proofed otherwise I don't believe there is anything else I can do about this.

I know that this still takes several weeks, however, if you, or anyone else reading this in the future, have this problem with Firefox 65 or newer please let me know.
