WebUI on remote computer via --api-bind-http

I thought I could change the config file to include --api-bind-http as a configuration option in MinerOptionsPackage.json but I guess there's more to it than just that. Is there a way we can get support for that setting, so we can view the WebUI on a remote computer? Changes via the UI probably wouldn't be a good idea so it can stay read-only with no support for an API key but it sure would be nice to check on the status from my phone or laptop rather than having to physically connect to the rig itself.
