I have all 13 essentia sorted into separate tanks with conduits and ports connected to each one but I can't do anything useful with it. If I connect the pipes to the synthesis table with an evacuated port it just pulls the same essentia until the table is full and not the ones I need. The essentia vessel does not help because it will just pull 4000 of whatever essentia tank I click on. I don't see any feasible way of getting the say 4 essentia I need for a netherite ingot into the synthesis table.
It would be really nice if the synthesis table only accepted the essentia needed for the inserted recipe, so that's my suggestion, unless there is some key thing I'm missing.

I take it back, tanks are far from pointless.
One just needs to having a mixing tank/s and mix essentia by hand using a vessel.
This works quite well and does add a nice alchemical feel of needing to pick and choose essences and gives cause for one to recall which essence is which.
Having said that, it would feel a lot nicer to be able to automate!
Either by having togglable essence pipes using redstone (maybe something that allows specific amounts per pulse too?) or by having, as suggested, a bank of each essence in the synthesis table.
I think the former would be quite fun and would enable a lot of possiblities.
Further, something else which would be great is a way to craft Alkahest as a fluid without crafting tables, either using machines or dropping Azoth into water. What too would be great would be being able to insert Alkahest into machines using either essentia pipes, something else, or things from other mods (support for Kibe's fluid hopper would be great!!) (relates: #17)
Item to either pulse X amount (1000?) or reduce flow rate, or
Change of tank mechanics to allow them to balance the preportions of multiple sources
(there would be ways to work around the latter two with the former one (kinda?) but they would be nicer)
