Windows crashes related to screen projections and auto full screen

A user made a comment about this in our Telegram chat. I was able to replicate crashes on Windows, but the user left without providing any details. So far I know these crashes are mostly related to screen projections and auto full screen.

Fixed most of QPrompt's crashes on Windows. Also imposed a few limitations on how Screen Projections can be used to prevent certain and potential crashes.

Crash frequency has been greatly reduced, but not all crashes could be prevented. I've added KCrash to allow handling crashes, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on Windows, so it's not very useful.

Closing issue for now. Feel free to re-open and report if you're able to consistently trigger crashes related to screen projections on Windows. For other kinds of crashes, please open a new bug report.

Re-opening issue after user Steve.WR found instance in which activating screen projection causes QPrompt to instantly crash.

Relevant system specs:

• Windows 11 22H2
• QPrompt 1.1.6 (v1.1/51788eb)
• Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 & Intel UHD Graphic 630
• Intel i7-8750H 2.2GHz 6-core
• System has DUET installed, used to provide a virtual extended display over the network
