I see a few possible solutions aside from inverting the colors for the entire line.

We could also:

  • Change the cursor from a split beam to a block, which is easier to notice.
  • Add thinner arrows that point to the current line, they must not be confused with reading area indicators.
  • Select the entire line, justified, using a custom shader, to allow for flexibility on how the colors are altered.

Are any of these better in your opinion @24se7en?
