Hi!

First of all, thank you so much for this beast of a guide!!! It helped me a lot even the arch install guide is a beast as well. I wanted to ask if you have a default firewall setup as well or some recommendation beside the arch wiki :)

Hi there, thanks for your suggestion.

I'm personally using ufw with the default home configuration. I think that's enough for the majority of home PC users. If you're using KDE, it can also be controlled directly integrated into the system settings when having the plasma-firewall package installed.

I'm considering to add a firewall section in the useful packages section. It could also list other options like firewalld but I personally don't have any experience using it on Arch. I have used it on Fedora where it is pre-installed though.
opensnitch is also an option with a little bit different approach.

For now please refer to the dedicated (Arch) wiki pages for those firewalls
