<div type="commentary" subtype="frontmatter" xml:space="preserve"><p>Fragment of medical catechism (?). Small scrap (7 x 6,7 cm) of papyrus of medical content dealing (also) with apoplexy (ll. 5-6). The fact that the ends of ll. 1 and 4 are left blank suggests that the work was in the form of question and answer: cf. P.Mil.Vogl. I 15 + P.Oxy. LXXX 5235, also on apoplexy. The text is written in a clear, firm semi-cursive hand dated to the 2nd cent. BC, and is a palimpsest bearing traces of the original writing (perhaps epic verses).</p><p><note type="footnote" xml:lang="en">This papyrus has been digitally edited by Nicola Reggiani as part of the Project "DIGMEDTEXT - Online Humanities Scholarship: A Digital Medical Library based on Ancient Texts" (ERC-AdG-2013, Grant Agreement no. 339828) funded by the European Research Council at the University of Parma (Principal Investigator: Prof. Isabella Andorlini). The digital edition is mostly based on the previous edition (Barns 1949, no. 3)</note></p></div>
