DigitalMusicology.jl is not a very good name.

  1. It's not really about digital musicology (= editions, digitization), but more about modeling and computational musicology.
  2. It's long.
  3. It's boring.

Suggestions?

Some ideas:

  • MusicModels.jl - except there are no models, but the lib helps building them
  • Compuse.jl - short and catchy but not very descriptive
  • ComputationalMusicology.jl - too long, boring
  • Bach.jl - after the COMPOSER (might wrongly suggest a certain focus a certain genre)
  • SomeMusicalTerm.jl (Sarabande.jl, Forte.jl, SecondTimeOnly.jl, you name it)

I actually like Sarabande, because it reflects the development of this thing. Slow and with phases of complete inactivity :D
