Is your feature request related to a problem?

When you ban a user account, it works well, but other moderators may not be aware of what happened. Also, there's no audit trail for the action.

Describe the solution you'd like

  1. Notify moderators via the messaging feature that someone was banned. The message can reference the complimentary feature suggested below. There should also be a way for a moderator to opt-out of the notifications.
  2. Add an entry to the event log to detail who banned a user, what user account was banned, and a listing of the post(s) that were deleted.

Describe alternatives you've considered

None, yet.
