Some DSi System Titles don't load #1247
Comments
This is actually an nds-bootstrap issue, so transferred it accordingly. If you set the "DSiWare Booter" in TWiLight Menu++ settings to Unlaunch at least some of them should work. Edit: Actually Pictochat and Download Play specifically might be TWiLight issues as I think those might just need to be directly booted or so, the rest I'm fairly certain are failing on bootstrap's end though. |
As of 0.54.0 (tested on DSi w/ Unlaunch):

I just tested it on 3DS with nds-bootstrap (0.57.1). |
When using the TWL Menu, attempting to open DSi Camera, DSi Sound, Pictochat, or DS Download Play, the game either hangs on a white screen from DLP and Pictochat, or says the DSi is damaged for Camera and Sound. The reason this seems to happen is because it attempts to create and load a game save file for these titles instead of just loading system memory. This can be seen by opening DLP on the Classic Menu, which works and doesn't try to save a file, compared to the TWL DSi Menu which attempts to make a save file.
