No reminder message

Reproduction Steps:
Create a new event
Set the beginning time of the event 2 minutes after the current time
Select "Yes" for "Reminders"
Waited for 3 minutes to see if there is a reminder message

I cannot visually capture a reminder message in my browser window, and since I waited for a 3 minutes interval, I am just going to assume that this is a major issue where functionality cannot be used to accomplish the intended task.

Users might miss some important events if they trust and rely on reminder function and the reminder does not show up. The issue damages the interests of users and the user experience of this app.
