Project Roadmap

Community Bonding Period

  • [May 20 - June 12]: Defining the goals and layout of the testing infrastructure for Phoenix

Coding Period - I

  • [June 13 - July 3]: Rewriting the unit-tests for phoenix-event-display to use Jest instead of Jasmine and Karma.

  • [July 3 - July 25]: Migrating unit tests for phoenix-ui-components and phoenix-app to Jest from Jasmine and Karma.

  • [July 25 - July 29]: Contributor and Mentor Midterm Evaluation.

Coding Period - II

  • [July 29 - August 19]: Introducing and setting up end-to-end (e2e) testing framework and write e2e tests for phoenix-app using Cypress.

  • [August 19 - August 29]: Creating a new branch jasmine-karma and adding more unit tests on this branch. After this, we will choose whether we should use Jest or Jasmine for unit tests in Phoenix.

  • [August 29 - September 18]: Covering backlog.

  • [September 19 - September 25]: Contributor's Final Submission and Final Evaluation.

  • [September 26 - October 3]: Mentor Final Evaluation.

Duration: Approximately 19 weeks.
