More Docker metrics about containers and images #1027

It would be nice to have more metrics about the overall Docker environment.
For now, there is only docker.containers.running. What would be nice to have:

  • count of stopped containers
  • count of total number of containers
  • count of images

It is easy to do as everything is available through the API.
